Pink's Pizza
Slice of Justice
A fake grindhouse revenge flick for a Houston pizza shop: trailer, microsite, posters and a satin jacket for the lead.
The trailer, 2 minutes 47 seconds
It was never meant to be real. That was the whole point.
We pitched a fake grindhouse revenge film for Pink's Pizza, a local spot in Houston, because it made us laugh. Think late-night Rodriguez chaos meets the deadpan cool of Drive. We shot a trailer, built a microsite and designed a full set of over-the-top film posters. We even made a custom satin jacket for the lead. It is probably still in a garage somewhere, sketch and all.
This was before everything had to be content, before likes and shares decided what lived. It was an idea we loved, built on a shoestring, and it clicked.
Proof that if you care enough, even a fake movie can leave a mark.
